November Beatitude:

Blessed are...

the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Meek persons are gentle, unassuming, and not demanding.  Jesus tells us that we should not seek an eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth.  When we are seeking revenge or always demanding something, it is not good for our spiritual lives.  To be meek helps us to be good followers of Jesus.  Our reward is to possess the things of the earth that will help us to experience God’s kingdom here on earth.

·                    Do you know someone who is meek? What is the meaning of “gentle, unassuming, and not demanding?”
